Job description


This position leads a team of business analysts for Financials & Distribution areas, to bridge between the business and Regional IT Delivery for the APAC Operations in about 10 countries. The role requires incumbent to manage stakeholders, demonstrate management level ability to influence and drive strategic changes in line with Regional management and country business management.


• Responsible for projects and executing business transformations, working with regional teams to deliver innovations to the countries

• Lead a team of business analysts to identify areas for improvement and standardization in business process, defining these improvements into requirements and solutions with system delivery team

• Evaluate business cases, IT solutions and prepare proposals to senior management for approvals

• Supports/challenges proposed benefits cases and return of investments to ensure that the programs of activity will deliver benefits as proposed

• Establish Master Data governance and maintenance

• Establish Master data maintenance rules and standardization, in alignment with top management reporting requirements

• Establish processes associated with the operations of Master Data governance

• Responsible for managing external solutions providers to deliver projects/solutions, Day-to-Day Application support services to businesses, with measureable SLAs)

Job Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Information Technology

• Minimum 8 years of experience in business analyst role with team management

• 4 to 5 years of experience in SAP ERP implementation either as a consultant or a core team member

• Preferably with working experience in Sales & Distribution environment

• Experienced in global or regional projects in variety of roles – project management, business process re-engineering activities, support operations in large multi-national enterprises, and vendor management

• Ability to exercise leadership and influence, in the absence of direct authority among members of a virtual team

• Demonstrates subject matter expertise in identifying and providing recommendations for business process change, process efficiency, productivity improvements

• Promote teamwork to deliver results and achieve group goals

• Be a strong team player known for consistent delivery of quality services

• Strong communication skills

• Positive ‘can-do’ attitude, willingness to stretch oneself

• Gives sufficient attention to details, innovative, possess strong analytical and reasoning abilities

• Persistent in the face of obstacles, with a strong drive to work under pressure and tight schedule
