Job description

Responsibility

Corporate Governance:

  1. Responsible for the preparation, planning and execution of meetings and activities in key compliance areas namely Export Control/Customs, Environment (ISO 14001), Information Security Management (ISM) and Legal/Intellectual Property.

  2. Plan, develop and execute annual action plan for the Compliance area(s) of focus as assigned.

  3. Responsible for the preparation, coordination and execution of both internal and external Compliance audits at Company level.

  4. Responsible for liaison with Regional HQ and/or parent Division (Japan) for matter(s) pertaining to Compliance and Risk Management.

  5. Attend local and/or overseas meeting(s) and conference(s) with Corporate Planning Head in either Regional HQ and/or Singapore group of companies.

  6. Coordinate and submit yearly assessment and surveys of business and compliance risks at Company level.

  7. Support Senior Corporate Planning Officer in the review, compilation and analysis of Compliance annual action plans and activities on a quarterly basis.

  8. Assist and support Senior Corporate Planning Officer in the review of company's compliance policies and procedures on an annual basis.

  9. Responsible for additional job task(s) and/or project(s) when being assigned.

Strategic Planning:

  1. Be involved in the development of key corporate initiatives and support top management in driving the overall business strategy at Company level.

  2. Assist Senior Corporate Planning Officer in the preparation, monitoring and data analysis of company's business planning and performance reports on a yearly basis.

  3. Assist Senior Corporate Planning Officer in the report preparation of key corporate initiatives on a yearly basis.

  4. Assist Senior Corporate Planning Officer in the quarterly compilation of Company's strategic business plan report.

  5. Conduct market research and industry analysis to facilitate the monitoring of company's business strategy.

Corporate Communications:

  1. Assist the team in the planning, coordination and execution of corporate communication activities at Company level.

  2. Support Regional HQ and/or parent Division (Japan) in assigned public relations' event(s) or media plan(s).

  3. Assist Senior Corporate Planning Officer in the reporting of Company's public relations' event(s) to parent Division (Japan) when required.

Job Requirements

Requirements

1) Qualification and Working Experiences

a. Minimum Diploma Holder with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in similar field or industry.

b. Prior working experience in Corporate Planning role or relevant Compliance job functions shall be considered favourably.

c. Prior knowledge in Strategic Planning and analysis works would be advantageous.

2) Knowledge and Skills

a. Equips with good public-speaking skills in delivering to internal and/or external stakeholders.

b. Exhibits good interpersonal skills to interact effectively across all levels and functions.

c. Possess good project management skills with the ability to multi-task.

d. Working knowledge of Microsoft application and data analytics tools would be preferred.

e. Proficiency to read and write in Japanese language would be advantageous (not mandatory).
