Job description
  • Support corporate news announcements in APAC (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, Australia & New Zealand)

  • Assist Manager to develop press releases, quotes, corporate messages and write-up for internal web

  • Strong proofreading, editing and grammar skills are required

  • Develop and draft press materials for announcements

  • Handle media enquiries and interview requests

  • To organise and coordinate on events such as press conferences and other meetings

  • Proactive collaboration with regional communications teams for content development

  • Manage internal and external digital communications platforms e.g. APAC Newsroom, LinkedIn, monthly newsletters

  • Work with external agencies as required

  • Liaise with local, regional and international media on editorial opportunities

  • Monitor and evaluate PR activities to continually improve what is delivered

  • Developing content for and posting on social channels such as LinkedIn & Twitter and creating conversation topics for LinkedIn

  • Support administrative work from time to time

  • Support Manager on crisis communications

Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years local PR agency/in-house experience and demonstrate good understanding of PR practice in B2C and B2B area

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

  • Understanding of Singapore and APAC Media Landscape

  • Excellent self-presentation, energetic, strong work ethic as well as accountability as a team player and member

  • Pro-active and takes initiative

  • Complete ownership of tasks assigned and with the ability to multi task and meet deadlines

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Familiarity with digital and social media platforms is an advantage

  • Motivated and good work attitude

  • Availability for overseas business trip

  • Ability to speak Japanese is an added advantage
