Job description

Product Regulation related activities in APAC to reduce non-compliance cases and another Environment activities

  1. Lobby regulators through strong collaboration among internal and external stakeholders to mitigate business risks arising from new regulations.
  2. Identify potential compliance risks as business opportunities(e.g. recycling business)
  3. Reduce non-compliance cases through strengthening of APAC PRCM(Product Regulation Compliance Managers) in each Panasonic sites acitivities.
  4. Maintain ISO14001 certification
  5. Promote Panasonic's environmental strategy and activities
Job Requirements

Product Regulation related activities in APAC to reduce non-compliance cases.

-It is desirable to have experience and knowledge of product regulations (especially environment and product recycling) (1)Close collaboration among internal stakeholders to formulate one Panasonic position on product environment regulation, in particular WEEE law formulation. (2) Take leadership role in external industry association to harmonize industry position and lobby regulators (continuously). -Negotiating and communicating skill -Long-term strategic planning skill (1)Plan and execute regional PRCM meeting in each country (2)Training for sales company and factory in APAC, when necessary (3)Strengthen and promote Product Regulation database (4)Strengthen PRCM network through regularly in-country meeting -Positive thinking and action
